  1. Thanks for the site and recipes!
I am using the superfoods and green and orange smoothies. Glad you were able to meet David Wolfe– seems like a good role model.
Will we be able to order dessets from the site or will you be selling the recipes? Someone said you are writing a cookbook.
We were in Ft. Bragg last week-end and went to Living Light and spent some time talking to folks and buying some of the food. I was looking for book of green smoothis recipes, but could not find such. I have “Green for Life”, but would like to try other recipes. Do you have a book to recommend? My favorite at this point is simply Carrot Juice a handful of organic greens (spinach,
spring mix etc.) and Revitaphi. Quick, easy, sweet and tasty! My husband is now drinking a glass of green smoothie almost every night.
Feels good and right for both of us!
Also am enjoying Goji berries every night.
Perhaps Skinny Pig could sell superfood recipes as well?
Thanks for your passion, information and caring!

    • Hey Deborah! I’m so glad that you like the site and recipes! I am working on a cookbook. It will include both cooked and raw vegan recipes and they will have LOTS of superfoods in them! If you are trying to incorporate a specific superfood and you need a recipe, just let me know; one of my specialties is creating a recipe around one ingredient. 🙂

The Skinny Pig Baking Company sells cupcakes, vegan candies, and raw desserts. Charles is working on a website for me now so hopefully it will up and running soon 🙂 Stay tuned!

  2. Hey Ashley,
Really like what you are doing. I read the Chocolate Pie receipe and I will try the crust first, maybe make some small cookies.
I will be on the lookout for more from you and your new adventures.
    Love Me

    • Thanks Grandma! You’re the BEST! Try cutting the pie recipe in half and put it in a small, square, glass baking dish and you can make brownies. They are so yummy! 🙂

    • Some day I will have a cafe where Skinny Pig baked goods will be abundant. 🙂 Right now I independently make cupcakes and vegan candies for people through special order. In the near future I hope to get Skinny Pig into some of the local farmer’s and community markets in Orlando. I will make announcements as soon as I do 🙂

  3. Yum! Thanks for your kindness at the Audubon Park community market. I’m passing your name to the organizations I’m connected with to see if we can help you grow your business in a charitable way. Myself, husband and co-workers think these are the best vegan cupcakes we’ve tasted to date. Keep it up, it was nice to meet your family as well. What a great role model for your girls.

    • Thank you so much! I am so thrilled that you liked my cupcakes! Just so you know, the two girls with me were not my daughters; one is my student at the school I teach at and the other girl is her sister, but if I had daughters, I would want them to be just like those two! 🙂 I hope to see you at the market again, I will be back on Monday February 22nd.

  5. Hello Ashley. You were recommended by a College Park regarding your food. They wish to have participate in the College Park Farmers Market on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 10am-4pm. Would like to chat with you. Please call me at 407-459-3149. Thank you.

  6. Ms Ashley
How cool are you. This website is awesom! I want to sample some of your products. Can I order and get shipped to Stockton?

    Your New Found Longevity Friend

    • Hey girl! Yes, you can totally order this stuff and get it shipped to you! Go to: and put whatever you want into your shopping cart and order. 🙂 If for some reason they ask you for a distributor number, type in 2957. Let me know if you have any questions.

Are you going back to the conference in September? I really want to. I think I’m going to see if I can volunteer.

      You are Super Cool!

      • That was my plan too (Volunteer). I’m not sure how you sign up. Do you know?
Tell me a little bit about your products. Do you make them? What is the market you go to? Farmers Mkt? I admire you and New Jersey (Joan). You both inspire me to do something with this passion I have for health and wellness.

  7. My plan is try to volunteer too. Do you know how to sign up? I want to sample some of your vegan deserts. Is that possible??

    • Hey girl! So sorry, I’ve been crazy busy! I sent a message on the longevity site where it says “contact us” about volunteering, but I haven’t heard back yet. I got this lady’s email while I was there who said that she’s the person to contact. So, I think I will just email her directly about volunteering. Shoot me an email and I will give you her email address; I don’t want to post it on the blog. 🙂
I have never shipped my desserts before so I’m not sure how that would work out. I could ship my flax crackers and possible my vegan brownies, but some of the other things might require cooling packages and other things that I’m not familiar with just yet. 🙂
How are things going for you since you got back? Have you started implementing any of the things that we learned?

  8. Yes! I have been consuming lots of superfoods. I am going to find something you can use to ship bakery items. I really want to sample your vegan deserts. Looking at the pictures of the cake and cupcakes you made for a friends wedding it looks like you are a expert. I will pay for whatever you decide to send. I will let you know when I find something. Do you make them yourselve? Oh, If you help me with signing up as a volunteer at the next longevity conference I will be forever grateful.

    • Sounds perfect! I will do some research into shipping also. I emailed the girl about the volunteer thing and she said at the beginning of June the Longevity Now website should have the volunteer application up and to fill it out and send it in. So we’ll have to check back in June. It will be so awesome! 🙂 I can’t wait to see you again!
